ESSENTIAL LIFE WORK DURING TRAINING

Why Quality Training is Important - parents have the difficult role of providing a loving relationship and a structured home environment to children whom have sometimes experienced the continuum of stress to trauma.  Stress might be divorce, competition, even what I would refer to as modern life syndrome the push to excel and go non-stop.  Other children have experienced trauma in one way or another due to the circumstances of their birth, accidents or in the case of child welfare issues they have been abused and or neglected.  Regardless of the cause, children who have experienced trauma often have a distorted sense of self.  Children that have experienced trauma often act out their feelings of unworthiness by displaying behavior that is destructive to self and others.

Parents need to be well trained in the physiological underpinnings of this difficult behavior in better understanding what the child/children are going through and how to respond effectively.  Taking care of the physiology and the environment are key.  Being able to identify when the internal environment of the child is being triggered as well as managing the external environment creates a level of balance between the autonomic nervous system and the sympathetic nervous system that provides optimal balance for your child and the rest of the family.

This program provides a comprehensive experiential training curriculum that directly improves the parents’ ability to provide quality care for the children they are entrusted with.

Please print out the Essential Life Work and post to your refrigerator or place where you can refer to it often during training.
